EDUCATION
university/college + high school workshop/residency offerings
our approach:
We enjoy working with young composers, instrumentalists, and music-inclined students of all styles and experiences. Through our individual and collaborative work in university/college and high school settings, we provide students with workshops centering composition, instrumental technique, contemporary music history + theory, student composition readings + recordings, post-grad career navigation, and composer-performer collaboration. We know from our own experience as students that collaboration with contemporary performers is crucial to the continued pursuit of music in high school, college, and beyond. Through our residencies, we bring our performance, composition, programming perspectives to the students we work with, while also providing an empathetic framework for navigating the ambiguous nature of the contemporary music field and how to make it your own.
